Centaure was a French oil tanker, launched in 1959. She was delivering oil from the Persian Gulf to Japan. She was sold in 1962 and renamed Champs Elysees. She was sold again in 1973 and renamed Gironde. In 1976 Gironde was broken up.
PS Baron Osy was a Belgian passenger ship built for the Antwerp Steam Navigation Company and launched in 1851. During the Crimean War, Baron Osy was lent to the British Government and renamed PS Malakoff. She was sold to the company Ford and Jackson in 1857 for service on the route Milford - Waterford - Cork. She was withdrawn from service in 1884.
Chesapeake was a 38-gun heavy frigate of the United States Navy, launched in 1799. She served in the Quasi-War with France and in the First Barbary War. During the War of 1812, Chesapeake was captured by the British. The Royal Navy took her into their service as HMS Chesapeake. She was broken up in 1819.
